This show was created with one purpose in mind, to support the athletic department at Bishop Diego. While spending months preparing for the show it became clear that several of our local car enthusiasts were alumni, so this got us thinking, is there a person who is still driving the vehicle that they drove to school. There was, and the “Classics with the Cardinals Bishop Driver Award” was created. This award went to Ed Batastini from Santa Ynez, who drove his 1950 Chevy Pickup to Bishop during his junior and senior year and continues to drive it today.
